Bankruptcy and nasty creditor
« on: Mar 31, 2021, 08:59:20 AM »
I am applying for bankruptcy due to losing a civil legal claim. The person who brought the claim against me is a very nasty and vindictive person, my solicitors words not mine.
My solicitor thinks he will try and get a claim on my property against his debt for legal costs once the judge has signed off the order agreeing the costs.
Is there any way this person can make such a claim in the period between the bankruptcy application and it being granted, which I understand can take a while especially with covid delaying normal business.
Thank you in advance to any answers.
