Hi there?

The first question I would ask is how did your Mum take out this level of debt in your name without you knowing about it? Have the debts not been paid and that is why you suspect your credit rating is bad? You can try and speak to the catalogue company and ask if they will transfer the debt to your name but I am pretty sure that they will not do this. THe alternative (and possibly easier) solution is simply to make the payments towards the debts yourself so that you know the payments are being made. Oh and make sure the catalogue accounts are cancelled so no further spending can take place without you knowing about it!
