Hi Emmajacob36,

they affect your credit score in different ways depending on how many you have missed,

usually the amount of missed payments are demonstrated via numbers, i.e 1 missed payment (1)

it may be worth you ordering a copy of your credit file so you can see,

Hi there

If you have made just one or two late payments and are now back on your feet you should not have much problem. However, if the late payments continue this will start to have a detrimental affect on your credit score. The best way round this is to start making your payments on time. Why are you late with your payments? If you are struggling with debt then damaging your credit score may be inevitable and you would be better putting your efforts into implementing a sensible debt solution to resolve the problem.
