Consequences of name in the press?
« on: Aug 21, 2009, 03:03:49 PM »
I'm not sure of the consequences should my name go in the press, it's just the london gazette isn't it? It's not like many folk where i live buy that. I don't have a business reputation to uphold, so what should I be worried about?

Good news :)

Your name only appears in the local paper for 2 reasons.

1) You have made false claims in your petition and essentially pissed off the official receiver.
2) You run a small business and have had complaints made against you in the local community.

As long as you do not fall into either of those categories your name will not appear :) :)

Hope that helps you!

Hello, o that is different from what I have heard.  I have been told it always goes in the London Gazette, maybe not always the local paper but it will go on the insolvency service website too and you can also look at the london gazette online too!
Hope this  helps ;)
