« on: Jun 10, 2009, 01:47:39 PM »
Hi,
Has anyone had a charity pay for their DRO - i have seen it written that they can pay for you but would not know how to go about it or who to contact?
Any ideas?
Cheers

Hi Tom

Citizens Advice are a both a registered charity and a 'competent authority' for DRO's so it is probably a good idea to get some advice from them.

a debt relief order costs £90. If you stop paying your creditors while you save up for this.... You will be able to afford it :)

Just make sure you quallify.

less than £15,000 of debt.
no assets
living in the UK as a resident
less than £50 of disposable income at the end of each month.
