I've asked the credit card company (nat west) for a copy of my credit agreement and they've replied in writing to say that the document is unavailable.

I've been in a repayment plan for 7 years now, because of my health and financial circumstances I've asked for them to write the debt off (£2,500).   They've always refused.

I wanted to see the agreement to see if it's possible to claim on any insurance I might have taken (PPI?) as I can no longer pay the monthly repayments.

Does this mean they would be unable to sell the debt to DCA if they haven't actually got the agreement?   Am I still liable for this debt?
