DEBT MANAGEMENT PLAN
« on: Aug 25, 2008, 11:17:33 AM »
Hi,

I am on a DMP with Payplan and although I keep to my regular monthly payments and increase my payment when I have extra cash, I still have some catalogues and a loan which I have taken out since being on the plan.  I went on the DMP about 5 years ago, and these new debts were taken on just over a year ago, now I am beinging to struggle. Am I men't to declare these to Payplan?.. I know that I am not supposed to take on further credit whilst on the plan, but things get desperate and I didnt know what to do.

Thanks

I think you should give Payplan a ring and let them know - they're very helpful. Don't be afraid or embarrassed to contact them - they're there to help and whilst it's not the perfect situation for you, they'll understand.

And you'll feel better once you've let them know what's going on - trust me!

Chin Up  :)
