Bankruptcy (Scotland) and keeping a car
« on: Jul 10, 2013, 11:43:19 AM »
Hi,

After years of struggling with debt I have finally come to the realisation that I cannot possibly repay what I owe and I am filing for bankruptcy.

One of my concerns is keeping my car.

I NEED my car to get to and from work; I travel approx 80 miles per day. It is extremely difficult (practically impossible) to get to and from my place of work via the public transport system.

It's a 54 plate Vauxhall Zafira, a standard family car.

Does anyone have any experience of this or advice to offer?

Many Thanks

Hmmm. buddy , if the person who is buying your car now is in your concern, then you can ask to him to leave car for you. Thanks, or yo go to your personal and expert lawyer for advice
